Being a member of Team Astra during my freshman year was an incredible learning experience that opened up the doors to a lot of opportunities. I really gained so much from being on the team, as an engineer, leader and person.

Howdy! My freshman year, I jumped into Astra and participated in our competition week at Johnson Spaceflight Center. I developed an enthusiasm for helping freshmen engineers when I returned my sophomore year as an advisor for the next Astra team. Now, as a coordinator, I help launch the whole Society to new heights.

As a part of The Archimedes Society I have not only developed many technical and communication skills but also built a community of students supporting fellow students. This organization is a great because it encourages students to always dream big and provides them the help needed to reach those goals.
