About Us:
HISTORY

The Archimedes Society started in 2015 with 3 members competing in the NASA Micro-G NExT Challenge. Each year since then we have expanded and grown to gather more participation from first-year students in national competitions. Now we are a society of over 30 engineers building better futures together.

VALUES

All our teams are formed and compete with these few key ideas.
-
Experience doesn’t dictate capability
-
Learning is done through interest, curiosity, and hard work

Mission Statement
We foster an environment where diverse teams can work hands-on to develop solutions for the complex engineering challenges of the future

STRUCTURE

The society is organized into a structure with 3 major levels. Competition Team Members, Advisors, and Coordinators. Each year we recruit passionate freshmen to join as team members in the 3 design teams. The members that choose to stay become advisors to their teams and coordinators in the following years.
